How to Care for Your Rubber & Leather Watch Straps

A good strap can last for years with the right care. Here’s how to keep every type looking its best.
Rubber straps
Our rubber straps are water-resistant and built for daily wear. Rinse with fresh water after the beach or pool, wipe with a soft damp cloth, and dry before storing. Avoid harsh solvents.
Elastic loop straps
Single-pass elastic straps can be hand-washed in cool water with a little mild soap and left to air-dry flat. Skip the washing machine to protect the elastic.
Saffiano leather straps
Saffiano leather is scratch-resistant but should be kept dry — take it off before swimming or heavy sweat, wipe with a dry cloth, and store away from direct heat and moisture to preserve the finish.
